Morning walk at the local creek... found this juvi BCNH hidden in the brush and decided it didn't make a bad frame.

It didn't suffer my presence long even though it was well protected by distance and cover... but rewarded me with a nice blast off just the same.

Thanks Morris, me too... I'm always amazed by how different the juvi's look in some species... the yellow crown looks very similar to the black crown as a juvi, just a little slimmer and the bill, but they both turn out so different as adults from brown with white spots to silver and black etc.

Thanks Karl, I always appreciate your pointers and positive reenforcement. I'll be getting tight even more often or at least having to crop a lot less, in the near future I think.
