Selling my Light Lens Lab 50mm f/1.2 ASPH "1966" in fantastic condition! I had an absolute blast with this character lens, but want to try the Nokton 50mm f1 now, so I’m going to part with this guy. I compiled several sample images that I personally took with this lens over the last couple months, showing off both it’s character when wide open as well as it’s sharpness when stopped down. All shot on Leica M6 with various film stocks as mentioned in each caption. (FM is weird about links, you'll need to copy and paste this, not click on it)
I was surprised how easy it was to achieve the swirl when shooting wide open, just make sure you take the time to nail your focus, but I had no issue with it. What I wish I played around a little more with is focusing at infinity and “swirling” the foreground instead of background. I did that in the last shot in the series.
Condition is fantastic. Exterior is completely clean with no visible scratches, dents, missing paint, etc. Front and rear elements are mint. I always had an ND filter mounted to the front, because I wanted to shoot wide open as much as possible, so the elements have been very protected. The ND filter is also mint.

For film photogs: One tip I’d give you is that this lens benefits from finer grain film stocks. It already has so much character, I think letting the lens speak for itself and not have grain add complexity to the photos is ideal, but that’s just a personal preference. For example, I much prefer the Ektar and Kodacolor shots than the Vision 200t shots.
