Superb set. The last one really looks like it could have been taken in 1956 (just guessing on the year of the Buick).

Ballpark 150 cars starting out from Springfield, IL ... driving the race in legs all the way to the West Coast via Route 66.

They were only here for a scant couple hours, before off to dinner / hotels and the next leg of the race.

If you're anywhere along 66 ... be sure to check their schedule for when they'll be passing your way.

Great photos Rusty, very good compositions. I think cars are very cool looking but I've never been very good and composing them with equal levels of cool but you're doing great

Thanks, Bruce. Yeah, car shows can be a tough gig. The parade entry was nice to see before the all got "packed in" to their parking spots.
