Here's a neat little bit of kit I put together a few years back. I ended up 3-D printing a housing for this Canon Sure Shot Owl Viewfinder which fits in the hotshoe.
The finder ends up being a 35mm frameline finder. There's some marks to one of the plastic lenses, but they do not show up when looking through the finder. Nice big framelines and optical view in this one.
Yeah, I was fascinated when I saw it. I had a broke Owl lying around and decided to try it out. It's a relly nice cheap option for a external finder and is so huge when looking through it. 3-D printing is really a gamechanger for weird stuff like this, lol.
