There is only one of the two Osprey chicks left at the Marine Nature Study Area in Oceanside, NY. The roomer is that a Bald eagle took one of the chicks when both parents left the nest for a moment. They now watch it very closely with one always present. These photos were taken across the pond on a cooler day so very little heat shimmy allowing me to crop two of the three image I'm presenting.
