This lens is in excellent condition. The glass is clean and free of scratches, haze, or fungus. The lens body and hood show only minimal signs of use. The only notable cosmetic wear is some paint loss on the lens foot.
I am selling this lens on behalf of a friend who does not do much online. She purchased the lens new from B&H Photo approximately two years ago. It was used sparingly before she decided it was too large and heavy for her needs. About 18 months ago, she switched to the Sony 300mm f2.8 and has not used the 600mm since.
According to her, the paint wear on the lens foot resulted from the way the lens was stored in her camera bag.
