On this early morning before dawn, a wolf walked out of nowhere in the dense fog, surveying the landscape as it was heading to a carcass in the Yellowstone River.
I spend 7-8 months in Yellowstone, and sometimes you get really lucky, although this was an incredibly tough situation to photograph in, i am very happy with the result.
looks like it belongs in a stephen king movie. amazing that in those early light conditions, the eyes stand out. great shot in tough lighting. thanks for sharing.
