For sale is a Voigtländer Nokton 50mm f/1.0 Aspherical in Leica M mount. This is a close rival to the much more expensive Leica 50mm f0.95 Noctilux (see Fred Miranda's online review comparing them), while being much smaller and also focusing closer.
Condition is 9/10 overall.
Glass is clean and clear with no scratches, haze, or fungus. There is a minor amount of internal dust consistent with normal use that has no impact on image quality. Focus and aperture rings operate smoothly and accurately. Lens body shows only minimal edge wear from normal handling. Focus has been accurate on two well-calibrated digital and film bodies.
Includes original box, original front and rear caps, and original metal hood.
The hood has three small cosmetic dings on the edge. One is a small dent and two spots have minor paint loss. The hood remains fully functional and mounts securely.
EDIT: the lens has been non-permanently six bit coded to the 0.95 Noctilux using the Akara Labs paint pen, which can be removed if desired.
