Thanks for all the comments guys. It was sprinkling when we got to the parking lot, and the sky on the drive looked flat, so I wasn't sure if I would bother with my "real" camera. There was just enough definition to entice me, so I loaded the A7cr + 20-70mm into my pack. Clouds got better as we hiked.
