This lens was purchased about 7 weeks ago, just before my macular degeneration in my eyes got worse. It makes for harder handholding for me. I have used it 3 times out my back door, traveling less than 100 feet to work its magic on flowers. I have never owned such a sharp and beautifully rendering lens like this before. But my age and its size + my eyes says it must go. I also don't do any portrait work, so this was going to be just a landscape/nature lens.
Interestingly, there is an aftermarket tripod foot available that works fine but I returned it.
