The clouds had just enough definition for me to bring my "real" camera for this often done walk. I had fun walking in and out (chased by waves) working the reflection.
It's images like this that make b&w photography so appealing. The color version is undoubtedly very nice but I have no need to see more than the beautiful black, white and gray tones in this photograph. Very nicely composed.
Just curious if you had any problem with your tripod legs sinking unevenly in the wet sand?

Thanks again for the comments guys. I just learned that this was a tower that fell and broke just a few years ago! Some day I have to look through my archives to see if I have a shot.
Brent, no tripod - I rarely use it now with the excellent IBS in my Sony cameras.
Extremely dramatic composition Ross! B&w really brings this out! The frame is filled with scale, emotion and the drama of the "sea".
Tones spot on!
