p.1 #1 · Sold Canon: Megadap or Fringer for my L glass?
I sold my Canon body, so I now have 4 lenses sitting unused. My Zf arrived almost a week ago and I still haven't taken it out, since I'm torn between adapters, Megadap or Fringer.
I'm a hobbyist who shoots dogs, environmental portraits, and the occasional sports event. My biggest priority is reliable subject and eye tracking. It would really bother me if these adapted lenses failed to lock onto the eye and the focus point kept wandering around.
I know there's other 3rd party adapters - I'm just going with the 2 most popular and, presumably most reliable. I know I'm not the first person going through this internal debate.
p.1 #2 · Sold Canon: Megadap or Fringer for my L glass?
i use the v1 of the Fringer adapter and I have never found any issues and I even use it with the 85/1.2 .. also no issues with oddball lenses like the TS-E lenses (i have the 17, 24, 50 and 90)
the build quality is solid and absolutely no play when used with the Z8 and Z9. The v2 is better because of weather sealing.
