I did a Grok Ai search for sites to sell my BNIB Polar Vantage v.3 sports watch. “Swappa” came up as the first option, so I pulled it up. What stands out as a powerful way to elimiinate the fraudsters is the manner in which a Seller can confirm that they are in fact the actual Seller of the item. Swappa.com has created a PIN identification ‘password”, a copy of which must be attached to the Required photo(s). That PIN is of course unique to the Seller apparently having been gotten via PM messaging between Seller and Swappa representative. There appear to be other sorts of verification steps through which the Seller AND Buyer must proceed, before each can be listed on the name/logo that accompanies their account on the site. I thought the PIN idea was reasonably smart. I’ve got time on my hands since I’m now “almost” fully retired. I also do a Grok AI search on counterattacks to the PIN idea. Tony
