I paid a membership about 36 hrs ago, but I still cannot post anything in the Buy and Sell forums. When I look at my profile, the membership feature says off.
I emailed and PM'ed Fred but got no response.
Is this normal? Thank you!

I think it is somewhat normal anymore. I sent Fred a PM about 3 weeks ago asking why two good credit cards were denied to join upload and sell, and have not got a response.

No, I have had upload and sell for as long as I have been a member. Cards were declined this time. One of the cards I used a few days before trying to join and again just a few days ago.

Interesting. The first time I joined, Fred was very responsive. After that, when I tried to reactivate the membership, I've never got any replies.

Fred may be "unavailable. He is a working photographer.
If you have sent him a PM, check your "Outbox". If your PM is highlighted in "orange", then Fred , or any member, has NOT picked up the PM. Otherwise, check all your info and makes sure there are NO conflicts!

Mine have been read. I don't think Fred has the interest he has had in the past for this site. I am thinking it might be ending sometime in the near future.

Did you ever get this resolved? For some reason my membership hasn't been updated after completing payment (last time, a few months ago, it was pretty quick). I know the site was having issues earlier today, but you'd hope that if that was affecting the membership activation that it would've been disabled from accepting payment...
