I was out early this a.m and this greeted me while photographing a mural in town.
Gentleman observing me photographing the mural and this "Miss Utility", told me that this was a female and the winds of last weeks 7 days of rain, blew its skirt off and a hat as well!
He took my card and will email me when "Miss Utility" gets some clothes and her hat back!

Nice find Dan. There is a similar display near us, large skeleton remaining from Halloween now decked out with seasonal attire/accessories with lights.

Heh my brother!
Thanks for stopping by! I was out photographing the "street" and this was adjacent to a wall mural I found.
The town I live near is a nice "funky" little town. Never know what you might find lurking about on the streets!
Was reviewing your book and that image of that monster of a man with his young daughter, thrown over his shoulder as he passes a "diet" store, one of thee finest street photos I have viewed!
It "speaks" to me everythime I look at it! The kid's expression is priceless!

Looking forward to seeing her with a skirt and hat. Beautiful job with the mural, too. Crisp and clean.

Best,

Thank you Bob!
There are a few row houses in the town near me that have skeletons on their porches all year.
But this was a shocker when I saw it! LOVED it! The electric meters gave me the "Miss Utility" moniker.
When I saw it, black and white was all I could see this post being.
The flowers were nice but.......yes the gentleman that talked to me will inform me when she "gets dressed"!
Thanks!
Dan
