For sale is a LEICA IIIf Red Dial, with a (not working) self-timer, from 1955 with a highly regarded W-Nikkor (Nikon) 3.5cm f/3.5, lens from the same decade, both in excellent condition. There are no dents or other nastiness on either. The shutter speeds on the camera sound good and the knobs turn freely. The rangefinder works appropriately for a camera of this vintage, i.e., not bright by modern standards. The skin is intact with no loose areas. The focus and f/stop rings turn freely on the tiny lens. I see no scratches, haze or fungus in the glass when looked at with backlight from either end. Included are a yellow/green Leitz filter (Grade 9) to enhance B&W contrast and a 3.5cm Steinheil viewer (Grade 7) which adjusts for distance. This camera and lens give a new meaning to the word “pocketable.” PayPal and shipping within CONUS included.
