First, I've spent quite a bit of time outdoors in Texas and have only seen a bobcat a few times. Photographing one has been on the bucket list since I first picked up a camera.
The first set, I was on a deer hunt outside of Seymour, Texas last December when I spotted this bobcat on the edge of the camp area, I didn't see what it had killed but it was apparently fresh. She was very tolerant of me, giving me plenty of opportunities to press the shutter.
The second set, during a rare winter storm in north Texas earlier this year I was on a walk in a back pasture making my way back to the house when I caught this guy out of the corner of my eye. I spotted him before he saw me, he was moving in stealth mode, stalking a rabbit as it turns out. He gave up on the rabbit when he spotted me. He sat down for a moment, before moving out of sight.
