I spent the weekend camping up in the mountains, really thankful for the lightweight Sony 300. Doing that climb with the 600 would have taken me out! I did a similar hike 3 years ago in Big Bend for the Colima Warbler, but I'm no spring chicken anymore.
I spent most of the time in the bowl trail area of the park at 7500 ft elevation.

Olive-sided Flycatcher. Common in the park, this young one was always posted up near the trailhead intersection.

Great variety Pietro. My favorites are the Swallowtail, Blue Grosbeak, and the Common Whiptail as there all well exposed and composed.
