Per the subject. I really like my Peak Design 6L sling except for the fact that there’s no provision/pocket on the outside for a water bottle. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I saw these crossbody bottle carriers that can clip onto or pair with the Peak Design sling. Thought about one for the heat out here.

Depending on what water bottle you use, but my bottle had a loop on the top and i just use a carabiner to attach to the strap. Works well and I have taken it on hikes and such.

I was looking at a Wotancraft Pilot 7L and just using the outside pocket, but it might a bit too shallow for a larger bottle or a little too far away for me to put a Heroclip/carabiner on one of the molle straps to supplement it.

I have the Wotancraft Pilot 7L, and it'll really only fit a small bottle. You can maybe squeeze in a 20L but it's not very deep so it may fall out. They sell an add-on (I think the Armor 14) which can hold a water bottle but I've heard it can get in the way of the opening for the Pilot so I haven't tried it.

I have an old Mindshift Photocross that has a pocket for a water bottle. I use it for my Oly kit and it's held up well. I don't know if the 10L or 13L would be bigger than what your looking for.

I use the Compagnon Element Sling. It has water bottle pockets on both sides, 7l internal padded storage, plus a cool expanding roll top that can add about 5l as needed. I have V1 bu this is version 2, which has a nicer strap and more color options: https://compagnon-bags.com/en/products/element-sling-7l-2-forestgreen

Wow, those are nice bags, I totally want the 12L to add to my bag collection, but man, the prices are... eye watering

If you can wait for Black Friday. Compagnon's site has historically had substantial discounts on their bags. I also have the first gen Adapt 25 backpack which is my go-to for carrying my kit on gigs. I got it around Black Friday a few years ago for almost half off. Their bags are super well made and extremely well thought out in terms of design, materials, and build. You can also get them at BH but they almost never go on sale and never as deeply as Compagnon's site. Fantastic bags at whatever price paid though.
