Eagles on Miller Creek

While photographing diving Ospreys one of the adult eagles from the nest with Junior and Princess was capturing a snake to feed the chicks.
The eagle flew low along the shoreline, sat on a branch and then took off for the last 50 yards to the nest.
The long composite gives yu a sense of why kayaing photography is so good. The guy in the kayak is y friend Ken who got me into kayaking a dozen years ago, taught me all I know about kayaking photography, and is an accomplished bird photographer.
I was further away from the shore photographing Osprey diving, Ken was able to get closer. Even at my distance the shots wee plentiful.

Thanks Karl. Ken has been one of those guys who shares everything. I am indebted to him or my warm weather wildlife outings in my kayak.
