Nothing wrong with environmental birding images, they can be stunning IMO. You just need to crop smart and find the inclusive colors and textures that compliment or accentuate the subject
In this case if the Indigo was turned facing right it would be much stronger. Don't give up, it can work beautifully when it all comes together!
