p.1 #1 · Lens profile correction for JPEGs in Lightroom
With my scans from the lab I receive JPEGs at the moment.
Unfortunately, lightroom refuses to let me select correction profiles for the lens when the image is a JPEG. It will only offer a very limited selection of makes and lenses, that seems more for mobile phone images. I assume it's because they figure jpegs already have profiles applied...but that doesn't help me much.
On mac, for lightroom online:
1 - Copy the profile from /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/ and save it to the desktop or elsewhere.
2 - In every instance of stCamera:CameraRawProfile="True" ... change "True" to "False"
3 - I also renamed the file to drop the "RAW" part at the end of the filename.
4 - Moved the file to /Users/(your username)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles (not inside the 1.0 folder).
