I enjoy bird portraits shot in a great environment, and you definitely have that here. Beautiful contrast, gentle OOF, and the flowers (the sepal?) actually pick up on the bird's colors somewhat.

Our Orioles have come in but the trees are past bloom so no chance for beautiful shots like these Dave. What a nice supportive environment for the colors and contrast of the Oriole

The oriole is Maryland's State bird and our baseball team's mascot.

Yet in my entire life here in Maryland, I have only seen a "Baltimore" oriole once!
