This BLM area is just east of the Henry Mountains in Utah. Free camping with no services. There were 60 mph winds the night we camped there which may explain why we had a large area to ourselves. Cold, and still a bit windy, in the morning on our walk back into a fold.

Otherworldly Jim, nice job! That's one of my favorite areas to explore and recreate, a true desert wilderness there!

Looks like a cool area, Jim. 60mph winds would have wakened me!

Thanks for all the comments guys.

Those gusts felt like a giant's hand was grabbing the camper and shaking it - luckily didn't pick it up! My wife hardly slept. I'm more used to windy nights - I just think how much nicer it is in the camper than a tent.

Love that area! Did you get up into Leprehaun?

Yeah, these are some really nice images. That’s definitely a unique area. I don’t know if a lot of people are exploring it these days. Maybe so. Great job on this.
