I just returned from a road trip to Las Vegas and spent a couple days exploring Valley of Fire and Lake Mead areas. This interesting geologic wonder was captured along the Seven Wonders Trail a couple mornings ago. I photographed the arches from both sides but this was my favorite angle.

I love the reflected light on the arch. Good job on the exposure and processing making the best of a mid-day shot
Thanks Jim! The reflected light really helped. I also shot it as a three image, 1 stop bracket in each direction from main exposure and blended as HDR in post.

Beautiful shot. I’ve never seen this angle before. My additional thoughts are I think I see a crop inside this photo!
Thanks Mark, I appreciate the feedback. I tried to work the scene and shot it from multiple angles and cropped with my feet on a few! When I posted this shot to my Instagram feed, I actually cropped it vertically, like here below. It's a neat area and I will definitely be back!

Super cool! I love this area. I haven't been there in a few years. I need to get back there!

Thanks Joel, this was my first time there! I have seen the signs for it many times but finally made the effort to go on this trip. I was impressed and it's quite a beautiful area. It did get quite crowded mid day with hotel busses showing up dropping off hordes of people - but early morning and late afternoon it was quiet with nicer light and very few people around.
