There are some bargains to be had...
They had a Z 100-400 four $1950 +/-... That's a good discount on a versatile lens.
The 400TC was listed at $10400 +/-... and, if I'm correct, you get 10% off when you put it in the cart, making it less than 10K.
The 600TC was listed at $11500+/- w/ the same 10% discount...
And... for those wanting to own an f/0.95 Noct, they had one of those listed as well.
do you want the ergonomic body and the faster partially stacked sensor or do you want the better looking camera with slightly better DR. it depends on what you lenses you want to mount on the body and your style of shooting.
I was just looking it all over as well. Not exactly a refurbished point here, but I just discovered they will give me $1200 (possibly more) in trade for my 500mm f4 AF-S D (the 1st version AF-S), which is likely about all I’d get for it in cash if I sold it. On a good day. Everybody who would still want a 500mm f4 wants a VR version of the lens.
Like many of you, I have no issue at all purchasing refurbished!

The camera will be primarily used for travel and family events and occasionally to capture sports(tennis matches). The lenses I plan to get are 24-120 and possibly an 85mm evo from viltrox.... Surprised to hear that Z6III Partially stacked sensor has inferior DR over the ZF?
Any amount of stacking reduces dynamic range at this point in the technology. It’s not super meaningful in the real world.

There are multiple comparisons out there in youtube which illustrates that. Honestly, I haven't noticed the difference. I have the Z6iii and the ZF. The Z6iii is a better video camera and it's sensor is faster than the ZF's for sports and wildlife photography. The Zf is perfect if you like older lenses(adapted) or you like shooting manual focus glass like voigtlander. Either way you won't go wrong.
The Zf does need a grip if you're going to be using the 24-120 on it daily and as your primary lens.

I paid $2200 for my Z6iii in December 2024. Still don't regret it but god damn, these prices are insane.
Paid $2496.95 July 2024, I'd say its been worth it even if I'm adding all of the extras (FTZ II, Grip, new SD, new CFE "B") which puts it closer to the $4,087 range.
I bought an extra CFE "B" Nov 2024 when they were having solid/big deals which currently appears to have been a genius move due to those current prices (in case I jumped to a Z9 or Z8 which I haven't yet).
I just got a Z8 from here because I'll be travelling to alaska soon and I need a second reliable body. The cost of renting one for 10 days is almost 400 bucks here where i live and I'd rather just buy and sell it when I am done with it. This trip will be a good test to see if I really need the extra megapixels as I am quite happy with the Z6iii except for some wildlife scenarios.
I will not sell my Z6 to upgrade to a Z8 or Z6III

Probably true haha I think the Z8 is in my (maybe distant) future. This forum's very own @Patrick Kolb does absolutely stunning work in square format with a Z8 and the idea really stuck with me. I shot 6x6 medium format film and printed in a dark room for many years, I love composing in square. Having that extra resolution + the autofocus would be ideal for getting some large prints.
