@RoamingScott@ and anyone else who cares to comment - is the original Z5 at $702 taxed/shipped a reasonable 2nd body as a fun walkaround camera? I realize it is previous generation AF tech and the mkII is better but I’m looking for a cheap option. It won’t be my main camera, just something inexpensive and simple to keep me in Nikon for casual walkarounds, family gatherings, etc. It is one of the few Z bodies I have not owned, but I did have a Z6 and enjoyed it as a walkaround.

I'd lean more towards the Z50 II honestly, updated AF/CPU, the "modern" back button layout, still a fantastic sensor.
The Expeed 6 cameras feel so dated these days, not sure that would inspire me to actually take it anywhere. Of course the sensor is fine and it's a good imaging machine, just one that has its share of annoyances and quirks.
I'm curious to see the eventual Z30 II for this exact purpose if we never get a point and shoot.

I hear you man, that’s what I’m afraid of, hard to go backwards when you’ve enjoyed using the newer updated cams.
