COLORFUL BIRDS !
p.1 #1COLORFUL BIRDS !
Do you ever have that moment of awe and think about the magesity of well everything ! I know there are places with more color birds than here, but I still am in awe of these beautiful creations.
I am surrounded by MANY very tall trees . I can hardly see the sky or even see the birds at times. Not often , but sometimes the light just shines through at the right moment when one is in sight as in the first 4 shots. Our home is the mountains. My back deck would actually be considered the second floor , so I feel like I am in a tree house , surrounded by all the trees and hearing all the birds . I am blessed !
The Red Breasted Grosbeak was such a surprise visitor ! Only the second time I have ever seen one.
What a beauty he is.
I hope you enjoy , thank you for taking your time to look and commenting .

P.S. The last shot , I changed the background .
1 Red Breasted Grosbeak
2 American Goldfinch
3 Eastern Bluebird
4 American Cardinal
5 Chipping Sparrow (?)

I love the way you captured the Grosbeak in it's environment in the first image Roberta. The last is my second faverate with that lovely background.

Your environmental inclusion really makes these subjects each a standout, nice balance of each.
Rose Breasted Grosbeak is a fav of mine, I see them occasionally. The natural framing gives such great depth on yours👍🏼
I like the entire set but say the Bluebird is sensational!

The high point for me is your description of this mature deciduous forest as seen from your tree house, the pockets of light and all the bird songs.
