I have a buddy who lives on a big fresh water lake in central Florida (he's on fm as well). Every year I fly down to see him and to spend a couple of days on the lake with him on his boat. This lake is perfect for wildlife--big, shallow, rimmed with tall trees and with some marshes along the shoreline. As such, it has become a haven for both osprey and bald eagles. You get to see the full set of behaviors of both adults and recently fledged birds. It is quite an experience. This visit was particularly good for eagles. I've broken the images out into two group, this is part one.
