Great blue heron breakfast - in three images
p.1 #1Great blue heron breakfast - in three images
Friends,
I recently visited Huntley Meadows wetlands in Fairfax County, Virginia. It was early for the chicks, but a great blue heron put on a good show fishing for breakfast.
c&c welcome, of course.

Thank you Morris, John, and ctgold. Each image has its strengths, but there certainly is something about seeing a fish about to take his final swim.
