I'm just getting started on DXO PL9 and using my notebook touchpad to edit. This is slow so I'm seeking information on what editing console interfaces with DXO applications. I found the article below to get ideas. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience.
PL9 has some shortcuts you can use (help->shortcuts). But as far as I know they can't be rebinded to something else.
The most common one I use is the crop (R) button and the basic arrows/rating system. But if someone here knows how to adjust elements that are typically used with sliders I would super appreciate it. (something like Control + scrollwheel = exposure adjustment or white-balance would speed my workflow up a lot)
I think PL9 works best if you have a mouse. A trackpad is hard to use.
Agree the trackpad is not sustainable. Time to also research a mouse.✌️
Update: I didn't realized wife uses an MX Master 3S mouse. Going to "share" it and add a Tourbox Elite. END.

jarenas, Lethimcook, PhotoLab has no shortcuts for most sliders, so a TourBox mostly helps through the trick of clicking into a slider's number box and using the wheel as up and down arrows. I ran into the same wall and ended up writing a Stream Deck plugin for PhotoLab, so take this with that bias, since I'm the developer. On a Stream Deck +, its dials turn Exposure, White Balance, Contrast and Highlights directly and show the value on the dial screen, which is pretty much the Control plus scroll wheel idea Lethimcook described. It's called DxO PhotoLab Complete if you want to look it up.
DXO should implement an equivalent of Capture One speed edit. It would drastically improve their clumsy sliders. It is a combination of key shortcut and mouse movement. For instance, when I want to correct the white balance/Kelvin i just press 1 and drag the mouse up or down. I just look on the image i want to correct not on the slider. Works great. No additional hardware necessary, just a mouse. https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015629178-Speed-Edit
