Visited a park in Sugarland Texas and found a momma with her pod. Never saw so many babies together. Mamma was very attentive. Taken with my Nikon D500 and the Nikon 200-500mm f5.6. Spotted the snake also. Some wanted larger file so I changed them.
Oh my god, the amount of tiny alligators here is both adorable and slightly terrifying at the same time. I love how they all look like they’re having a serious little meeting by the water. Nature is so fascinating! This feels like one of those moments most people would rarely witness in person. Such an amazing find and capture!

It really suprized me to catch them and the mother. I almost missed them even though I was looking right at them. Same with the mother. At first she barely had her head out of the water and there was a lot of mud on it. I finally used the 200 to 500mm lens to check it out. I thought it was an old log. Good reason not to go swimming or get close to the water where alligators live.
