Btw, it has no mechanical shutter so shutter count as a marker of wear doesnt really translate. I'd wager the LCD on the back or the buttons on the camera wear out before any sensor issues develop
While I think it's mostly true, the idea that the count is completely irrelevant is a bit nuanced. There's no shutter to break, but high count is still a useful metric for the overall mileage" I think. These bodies still have mechanical things like sensor shield, IBIS system, buttons, dials, ports that are subjected to wear. So if given a choice i'd still prefer a 50k shutter camera over a 500k or 1M shutter count for eg.
