An old farmhouse that I occasionally visit - soon to disappear judging from the large signs announcing a new whatever and excavator parked nearby. I attempted researching it but my local contacts, with deep roots, could not provide any information other than when they clear-cut the trees, there was a persistent aroma of skunk.

Very nice. Would like to know the story behind these. #4 would be my pick, followed by #3 - like the highlight treatments better.
#2 really catches my eye,as well. It would be my first pick, except the TV and remote are missing, but you could p'rolly fix with AI.
Why does my computer smell like skunk?
Thanks Paul,
Yes, a particular irony in #2 with the couch sitting aside in the field - most often the couch migrates to the front porch. In this case the porch is so damaged it would not support the weight. Too dangerous to venture inside.
Skunk - only you can be the judge. I don't doubt what she said but in my experience skunks are very rare in the area - not nearly as abundant as in the northeast where I grew up. But then the rapid growth of predatory coyote and fox might have reduced their population too. My immediate concern was snakes, but none spotted.
