A rancher in south central Washington along the Pacific Flyway provides habitat for migrating Sandhill Cranes and provides viewing opportunity to photograph them. On this particular day he needed to clear the road so that he could move a small cattle herd to another pasture. While clearing the road, he volunteered that he was happy to have us photograph the herd and drovers during the short trail herd. We had a great time photographing this family event.
