I bought the Sigma when it announced to use with the Sony A7rV. In years past I've had Canon 1-series dSLRs and used those with the Canon 200/1.8 and 200/2.
I don't know how Sigma was able to lighten this lens. Between OIS and IBIS, shooting handheld is easy. My old 70-200/2.8 set-ups weighed more. The wife wanted pix of the dogs running all over the place.... easy, easy, easy. Sony in pet mode, eye detection, continuous focus, lens' IOS in pan mode, boost the ISO to keep up shutter speeds, 12 FPS... let 'er rip. All the images below were F2. Anybody could shoot this lens. Amazing tech. I'm sure I'll buy this lens again someday, but probably L-mount for the SL3.
The lens is in perfect condition and comes with all its packaging. It's been used probably a half dozen times for ~15 minutes at golden hour.
I know these are on sale right now, but the Sigma box is pretty big, so shipping is expensive due to the box size.
