p.1 #1Icelandic Highlands – Pink to Fire

When I see your landscapes, I think of how it must have been for the recent astronauts viewing Earth from the dark side of the moon! It is spiritual!
Thanks amigo!

Amigo Dan: The recent Artemis astronauts trained in Iceland, whose landscape offers a compelling analogue of otherworldly terrain. This is not new. Even during the Apollo programme, NASA sent Neil Armstrong and others into Iceland’s interior for the same reason.

You know amigo, that is a REAL shame that this information was not discussed in all the media hype on the Artemis mission and the training.
I could have missed that piece of info but I did watch most, if not all, the discussions of "how the astronauts trained".

Was not mentioned once!
Thanks for the education amigo!
