Last week I had the pleasure of visiting Orlando Wetlands and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge to do some birding. March is in the middle of nesting season for many species of birds, and despite the unusually cold weather, the birds did not disappoint. I am partial to roseate spoonbills, and I was thrilled to see and photograph little ones ("teaspoons") and older juveniles. All in all, a successful week.
Ha meat and a salad for the GBH! Gosh these are wonderful, so love the coloring on the Spoonbills
Nice environment on BCNH, lovely capture on the Egrets.
Thank you, Karl and Louie. It's been a rare birding trip where the equipment, the subjects, and the light worked together to create the opportunities that I enjoyed this year in Florida. It made me wish I did wildlife photography for a living . . .
