I'm a new member, zero feedback, and I'm selling a $5 900 kit comprisong of the original X2D + the 35mm-75mm lens. I realise that's basically every red flag on this forum at once, so let me try to earn some trust here.
I upgraded to the X2D II with the 35-100mm lens, which means the original X2D and the 35-75mm are sitting in my studio doing nothing. Pics of both kits side by side are attached. I also took one with my laptop open to my FM profile page inbetween the boxes for both the original and my current X2D, which should at least prove I didn't pull these off eBay.
The kit:
- Hasselblad X2D 100C body, good condition (please look through the pics, this has NOT been a garage queen, but I have taken care of it and and scratches or scuffs are from moving around in my Peak Design backpack and not from being knocked)
- XCD 35-75mm f/3.5-4.5, good condition
- Original boxes for both, caps, charger, strap, documentation
- 1x Hasselblad battery (which will be purchased new and shipped directly to you so as to avoid dangerous goods / hazmat handling)
Shots on lens: 3381 (ran out of photos I can upload, but happy to send pic), and 2843 shots on all my other lenses combined, so 6224 shots total on the body.
Sensor glass is clean, lens elements are clean, contacts are clean. Note that there is a screen protector on, so any imperfections on the screen are on the screen protector - the screen itself is spotless, as I've had the protector on from the get. I mostly shoot portraits in studio. Nothing's been dropped, rained on, or otherwise mistreated.
Asking $5 900 for the bundle, shipped anywhere in the world. DHL Express, fully insured, signature required, from Cape Town, South Africa. Shipping is on me. Customs duties and import taxes are on you, though if you want to talk through options on the declaration to keep that reasonable, just PM me.
I'll split it if there are buyers for both pieces, but not selling one without a taker for the other:
- X2D body: $3 800
- XCD 35-75mm: $2 400
Payment: For established FM members, PayPal Goods & Services at my expense. I'd rather eat the fee and have you feel protected. For newer accounts, PayPal F&F or crypto. I'll take BTC, XMR, USDC, or USDT.
I know I'm asking for a lot of trust given that I have no history here and I'm shipping internationally. So here's what I'll do to bridge that gap:
- Video call. Before you pay anything, I'll get on a call and show you every piece of this kit in person. Serial numbers, lens elements under a light, whatever you want.
- Additional photos on request. FM username on a card next to the gear, specific angles, close-ups, just ask.
- Ship to verified PayPal address only.
- Full DHL tracking and insurance. The gear is my problem until it's at your door.
- I can share references outside FM via PM if that helps.
I've read through the safe transactions thread here and I get it. Overseas seller, new account, expensive gear, it's the trifecta. But I figure being upfront about it is better than pretending it isn't an issue.
