Bought this on the forum from user Snapsy. The camera has some damage to the sensor shield, but is fully functional. Here is his description:
"Nikon Z8 in excellent condition with 19,109 clicks on the "shutter". This copy has superficial damage to the sensor shield - it doesn't affect the shield's operation in any way. I purchased the camera here on B+S in this condition and under warranty and the camera has worked flawlessly. The Nikon USA warranty was expiring this month so I just sent it into Nikon to see if they would replace the shield gratis but they declined since they consider shield damage to be user-caused - apparently the shield damages easily if you point the camera to the sun without the lens cap and the camera off with the shield down."
I've used the camera as my primary sports camera for the last few months with zero issues. "Shutter" count is up to 143,578. Other than the sensor shield, camera is in excellent condition.
