Terrific set John! You got the V!
Speaking of GHO... you knew there'd be a story, right? I was sitting on my couch watching TV last Thursday and heard a loud thump on my roof... no trees overhead so I figured a heron landed hard or something. Next day I found a headless large rabbit in my back yard and a bloody smudge on my roof.It was a gory double bagger cleanup job, I'm glad it was trash day and no, I didnt even take a cell pic, I am still trying to forget it, heh. Evidently according to local birders, GHO will often take a rabbit and only want the head... for the highly nutrient brains... great, I have zombie owls now! ZHO? I dunno, but thought you'd get a chuckle....Show more →
Thank you very much Eric. Thanks for sharing your owl story. years ago I was looking for snowy owls near our lake and found a sea gull minus its head. I always suspected a snowy was the culprit.

These are really nice John, you got some great shots. I love the low angles you got, the local resident up here. Is very high. I really like the last one. Voted
