18-35G Hood?

Hey All,

I could have sworn that on the one I had, I used an HB-23, but the compatible hood is listed as the HB-66. I had zero issues previously (unless I imagined it was a 23), and I am asking as I'm going to add this lens back. It is light, fantastic for landscapes, and I found one under $200. It needs a hood is all, and the HB-23 (officially for the AF-D version) is quite a bit less expensive than the 66. So...anyone know about it?

The correct hood part is HB-66. That's the one that's on my 18-35G.

I think about selling it from time to time, but it's such a great little lens. Sharp, light and compact.

Update...found a pic of my 18-35G and I was using an HB-23, so at 40 bux less than a 66 with no issues...that's my direction.
