This is a gorgeous lens. Best 50mm lens I've ever had on F-mount, and possibly my favorite 50 ever. I'm moving to Z mount for my paid work, so I'm selling it along with a few other F-mount lenses.
In used condition. Comes with hood, front and rear caps, and box.

Nice shape, other than a small crack in the lens body that I put a piece of black tape over (see photo). Works well. Handy focal length and just a handy little lens.
Works great on my Nikon Z6II with the FTZ II adapter, and of course it works great on my D750 and D780 as well.
As far as I know, the VR works fine but haven't really tested it.

Really nice shape, AF works.
I'm not the original owner, but it seems to have been really well taken care of. The body is nice-looking but there are a few scratches on the barrel plastic on the back side. Overall it's much newer looking than some AF-D lenses I've had. It does come with OEM caps but no hood.
The glass looks nice to me. I'm not the pickiest in the world, though. There's definitely some dust on inner elements. There could be some fine scratches on front or rear glass, but nothing I would have noticed if I wasn't peering at it with a flashlight.

Autofocus works. The glass is in pretty decent shape, so if you just want to play around with one of these lenses, here's a pretty inexpensive copy. There's some dust in the lens. I doubt the dust has any noticeable effect on image quality, except maybe while shooting into the sun.
Aperture blades are sticky (I cleaned them a bit myself but I didn't do a full teardown, and the stickiness came back).
Lens was dropped and the aperture ring got chipped/scuffed, and the filter ring is missing a little chunk.
Regarding the sticky aperture blades, I think it would work fine adapted to mirrorless with a dumb adapter, where you would manually operate the aperture using the ring.

It does work with the ftz ii, but the autofocus while adapted is pretty useless. I think Tokina has no way to do firmware updates on it. The AF is totally fine on an f mount camera. On a Z camera, the best bet is probably to manually focus and use the focus square turning green to verify focus. If you want, I can test that for you.
