Went to my profile and no longer see a place to turn off messages when a for sale item of interest comes up. Do I have to resubscribe to gain the ability to turn off alerts (or add new ones)?

No. I got a watchlist PM a few days ago, so I tried to determine where I could inactivate.

I asked this same question maybe a year ago. Coincidently, I just signed up the the Buy/Sell/Upload membership again, which now gives me the option to turn off the for sale alerts. I don't believe there is a way to turn them off, or change them in any way, unless you are a paying member again.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll just live with the unwanted alerts rather than feed the money grab.

Are you talking about the system alerts via PM that tell you when you have a match for any B&S keywords that you have listed in your profile? If so, you can simply delete any keywords you have listed.
