I had a wonderful session with a bunch of smaller birds at Kissena Park about a month ago. It was a very cold day and the ground was snow covered. They had found a spot with berries and natural seeds to feed and I set up and photographed them.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris

Man these are so nice. If #4 had a dusting of snow on those branches, it would be this years holiday card. The last one though is just awesome and my favorite.
These are outstanding, Morris! Great color, sharp focus, and for the most part uncluttered backgrounds.
My favorites are #'s 3, 5 & 6.
Excellent work, as always.

Nice, Morris. I like the attitude of the female in 1, especially, but they're all well done. Good anticipation with the flight shots.
Thank you Bob,
I'm having a good time photographing small bird blastoffs

Thank you Joe,
The sun melted the snow off those branches before I got there

Thank you Greg,
Avoiding cluttered backgrounds meant a lot of carful selection
