Northern cardinals
p.1 #1Northern cardinals
I had a wonderful session with a bunch of smaller birds at Kissena Park about a month ago. It was a very cold day and the ground was snow covered. They had found a spot with berries and natural seeds to feed and I set up and photographed them.

Nice, Morris. I like the attitude of the female in 1, especially, but they're all well done. Good anticipation with the flight shots.

Good looking set of cardinals Morris. IMO, #3 and 5 are the best in image quality. BTW, excellent female liftoff.

Man these are so nice. If #4 had a dusting of snow on those branches, it would be this years holiday card. The last one though is just awesome and my favorite.
