p.1 #1 · Baldie take-off

At local favorite park for birding. Eagles are back at a nest apparently after a years absence. Got these shots just after it was circling above the nest. Got some nest shots also but these were my fav of the afternoon.

The second is my pick Mike as the wings create leading lines from the upper corners. It is a great moment you skillfully captured.

Excellent work on these captures. You nailed the exposure in some pretty harsh lighting.
I'm with Morris on the pick.
P.S. -- I'm jealous, living in Austin, TX.

Yes Morris, but I think the phrase "driving me batty' came from someone trying to photograph them in flight. But I do appreciate the fact that they eat so many mosquitoes -- that makes them my friend. Now that I think about it, maybe that's why Alaska has so many mosquitoes -- lots of Eagles, but few Bats.
