I've been wanting to experiment with mixing light from neon window signs with natural blue-hour lighting at the end of the day, so earlier this week I did a shoot in downtown Portland during blue hour to see how it would turn out. The idea in my head was to use the neon light as the main light source, while the blue hour helps set a mood, and the two different colored light sources would hopefully compliment each other as well. These are my favorite three:
