I'd be interested in what Viltrox is showing at their booth - looks like 35mm and 55mm EVO lenses? Would be interesting to see if there is any info on the 35mm f1.4 PRO that was on the roadmap released last year. Or an updated roadmap in general.

^ I second this! Also a bit curious about the possibility of any new Remaster Slim lens units from LK Samyang.
Np, I'll check out Viltrox more in depth tomorrow morning as today's session was mostly cinema, m mount lenses and binos.
I'll ask about the road map.
My schedule has shifted so tomorrow will actually be the last day I'm there so if anyone has any requests just lemme know.

I did visit Samyang booth to check out their collab with Schneider Kreuznach but I'll ask about the Remaster Slims
One of the lenses I was interested in was the new brightin star 35mm apo. I some a few shots on both film and digital but on my film M the lens got stuck! I had to finesse it out and my mount was scratched a little.
Haptics wise it felt pretty good and the finish seemed well. Even the rangefinder mfd detent was very pronounced. My thinking is that the Chinese companies replicated the Leica APO pretty closely and expect to see a few more variants as usual.

I'm also curious about this lens. Did they indicate what pricing will be? Looking forward to your thoughts about the images you shot with it. Or if you're somehow able to share them via a download link, etc.
Hi all! This is Mathew, Community Manager from DPReview. Nice show photos coming in! Hope it's ok I say hello and post here.
I wanted to let you know that three persons from our team are at the show. As fellow photographers, they would love to say hi if time is available for anyone who's at the show.
Just asked booth and they told me it's not popular in European market so they would need more demand from there to expand total line. It's popular in asia but that's not enough for them to expand the line. twelveish wrote:

I checked the Shoten Kobo and smaller areas but didn't see them.

The people in the Canon forum seem to hate it, but I'm interested in the Hasselblad-lookin' Canon Analog Concept:
I saw this and the line to see it was quite long! So it could be popular.

The Shoten booth section had many of the chinese brands but they didn't seem to know any detailed roadmap details other than that it'll be updated by the summer.

Thanks a lot for asking. That's unfortunately in line with my expectations. Would love just one longer option, 40-45 or so. Oh well.

I also visited Samyang booth yesterday and talked to a Samyang guy who seemed to be from Korea about the desire for additional optical modules for RS set like they had hinted at in the early phase of RS set launch. I didn't get any explanation like ftllens did but it seemed very much that they had no plans at the moment and the Samyang guy just promised to take the feedback to their team and he seemed apologetic about it. He tried to promote the Schneider Kreuznach collaboration line which seems to be the main thing now. I guess even in Japan the RS set hasn't sold enough in the long run since it's nowadays available at big discount (around 33K yen for the set in some shops). It's unfortunate since I'd also like to see additional modules.

I'll keep you guys updated as I can on any other shows we may be attending. We don't go to them quite as often as we used to . Rather, there aren't as many shows to go to, it would seem.
Thanks for all of the on-site info. I saw that Voigtlander introduced a 75 f2.8 APO and a close focus 90 f/2.8 APO. Any info on these new lenses? Were they on display?
