p.1 #1 · Cannot launch Canon Professional Print and Layout from Photoshop
I've been using Canon's Pro Print and Layout for printing for a few years and love it. I'm having issues opening it directly from Photoshop lately by going to file>automate and selecting it from there despite having it work in previous versions of Photoshop. I'm currently using the latest version of Photoshop (27.3.1).
Many people report that after downloading the file onto their computer, it does not show up in the automate folder and needs to be manually placed into Adobe Photoshop program folder on the computer in order for it to show up. After doing that myself it now shows up in the automate folder but doesn't open whenever I select it.
Currently I have to open the Canon Pro Print and Layout program by itself in order to use it and open images for printing directly from there. It would be easier to just send any file I have open in Photoshop directly to the program via file>automate so I do not have to save every single file to later be opened. Anyone have an insight into how to get this working properly?

I did not do step four as described in that link, I did not see an option to select the "plug in "install". I'm not sure if Print Studio Pro is that same as the program I'm describing as Canons Professional Print and Layout.
